Felix Ball is a digital cat artist. From his Artist Statement:
“Cats and humans share an unshakable bond that dates back thousands of years. Until now, cats have been unfairly left out of the digital revolution, barring the plethora of awesome videos in which they demonstrate their unearthly skills. But cats are saying more to us humans than most humans can or are willing to understand. I’m convinced that my cat is communicating with me on a color spectrum that is only visible when I close my eyes. His messages are often swirly blotches of color that changes with the content of his communications.
It is my belief that cats can explore their highly emotional and subconscious existence in the digital realm. I strongly believe that cats should leave behind their paint brushes and get in line with the modern world.”
At night I’d imagine the things the cat might be talking about, like how it’s too hot in the house, or she wishes the chihuahua next door would just die.
