Rusty Rutherford lives a dual life as a stand-up comedian and a youth advocate, with a dash of digital, visual and performance artist. Rutherford’s twisted comedy has “More energy than a high school cheer squad” (Montreal Fringe Festival) and landed him the nod of Albuquerque’s best comedian in the Albuquerque Alibi’s “Best of Burque 2016.”
Rutherford is the cofounder of Duke City Dream Lab, an organization created to help end youth violence and substance abuse by replacing negative traits with positive arts. Rutherford has a Bachelor’s of University Studies from the University of New Mexico with a focus in Psychology, Media Arts, Theater and Communication and Journalism.
