PyraPASS: Access to Premium Resources for Creatives
Need affordable, quality resources to help you organize the messy, confounding business end of your creative career? Feel you need to up your game on the professional front? Are you struggling with chaos, wasting time flailing around, feeling lost? Are you dying to get organized, nail down some simple systems and—whoa—get back to making art?
If you’re looking for support in developing your creative career, Pyragraph is here to help.
Besides our daily free content, Pyragraph has built a collection of Premium Resources to help artists, musicians and creatives of all kinds get their creative careers and projects on track. Every Pyragraph editor, photographer, blogger and other contributor is a working creative, and we spend our days (and many nights) thinking long and hard about what it takes to be successful, on our own terms. We know artists crave resources like:
- a community of like-minded, self-employed creatives with whom you can work out problems
- budget-priced access to experienced professionals to work out those problems you just haven’t been able to solve on your own, and
- standard contracts and agreement templates that can help you continue to grow as a professional and develop your creative career.
We offer these and more Premium Resources to our PyraPASS members.
Pyragraph is all about helping artists fuel their creative fires. We know it’s hard to survive as an independent creative, and it’s our burning desire to help by offering the tools and support you need. To that end, we’ve built our PyraPASS memberships to include a wealth of concrete resources that can help streamline the business end of your creative career.

Free coaching sessions are included in our Backstage (6 months minimum) and all VIP Pass memberships—AND all Backstage and VIP members get half-off coaching sessions beyond the freebies. Her smart, creative and straightforward approach to starting a new business helped us make sense of our individual roles, and gave us a clear vision of the steps we needed to take. Pyragraph is all about creating fun, helpful content for artists.
We’ve been around since 2013, publishing super-helpful blog posts written by real, live, actual working creatives every single weekday—oh, and paying these artists to do so. We’re an innovative publishing model in a sea of pay-to-play at worst and “Oh, there’s no budget for that but it’ll get you some exposure” at best.
Even before I began writing for Pyragraph, I enjoyed reading their personal stories from other artists. I found out, those writers were a lot like me. At Pyragraph, artist contributors and staff offer their peers hard-nosed tips, useful feedback and honest experiences on how to live out creative dreams. It can be a challenge for creative professionals to find a place to talk shop. Pyragraph is one of those rare online places that is actually a community.
Not only have we been publishing great blog posts every day for years now—we passed the 1,000th post mark in early 2016 and are still on fire!—but we’ve also been producing podcasts and live Q&As for the benefit of our creative community. One is Self-Employed Happy Hour, a podcast where we invited driven artists and self-employed creative people into our Publisher’s dining room to talk shop.
More recently, we developed a videocast, Pyragraph LIVE from the Albuquerque Press Club, where we talk intimately with creatives about how they make their creative lives run smoothly.
Then, there’s Pyragraph Office Hours, which we started because we want to rub shoulders with our local creatives here in Albuquerque, New Mexico (and visitors to our fair town), enjoy craft beers and answer pressing questions they have about how to run their careers. We want to cultivate these relationships because more than anything else we want our creative community to thrive.
Pyragraph is a collective where current artists speak to other artists. We’re not reviewers, commentators, professors or observers. We are giving advice and sharing experience from a provocatively poignant place—our real time perspectives at all levels of development and business.
—Tonya Kay, Pure renegade actress, danger artist, and raw vegan chaote
We’ve put out these and many other features to help artists of all kinds, and are excited to keep cranking out cool content like this.
If you’re behind the idea of helping creatives—and of course want to take advantage of all the other benefits PyraPASSes have to offer—then support Pyragraph’s innovative publishing model. If you have the means, buy a PyraPASS. We’ll keep publishing great posts from working creatives, which not only helps the author (whose writing we do pay for) but also the countless struggling creatives who have encountered their words of advice, encouragement, and straight-up helpful tips.
We can help you build a system: Get the business basics taken care of so you can spend more time making art.
We’re all about building systems. With your PyraPASS, we can help you get into a groove where the business stuff can—almost—take care of itself. And you can get back to doing what you love: making art.

Our “If you don’t completely love it, it’s on us” Guarantee
We know that there are a bunch of services out there that just seem to be in it to make money off of artists. They seem to offer little in return for hard-earned cash. We know what it’s like as independent artists. We know the allure some of these services have, and we know the sting when they don’t follow live up to expectations.
That’s why—if you don’t completely fall in love with your PyraPass in the first 30 days—we’ll give you a full refund.
Cheers! Here’s to keeping your creative fires burning.
