The next time someone compliments your work, the best answer you can give, even if it hurts, is “Thank you.” I’ve found this to be surprisingly rare.

If you tell people you are working side jobs, does it give the impression that you are hurting for money, and/or willing to work for less than you’re worth?

Artists are choosing the path less traveled and are rare and courageous in society because of it.

It is that creative energy that makes us who we are and losing it can be devastating, often resulting in anxiety and depression.
